As an assignment from a client, a program was developed to analyze
track force measurements.
Using a machine learning method, it was possible to train the program to
classify fault track sections automatically. The program can monitor
track data and alert an operator when the track is believed to be faulty.
This work resulted in a best paper award, shared with the other authors.
My contribution was the proposed method and the implementation of it.
The program was written in Matlab, using a MS Access database as data storage.
